Help clean up one of the most beautiful stretches of river in the country! Volunteers of all ages welcome! Join us for a free breakfast before cleaning up a 1-mile section of the river. Prizes for: Best of Trash, Most Toxic, Most Useful, Most Unusual Trash, and Best Photo. PARTICIPANT INFORMATION Breakfast and registration starts at 8:30 am near Lions Park and the Midland Spur side of Basalt Town Hall. Teams of 3-4 people are arranged, assigned about 1-mile of river, and head out to clean up around 9:15 am. Entries of trash for prizes must be registered at Lions Park by 11:30 am. Winners will be announced at 11:45am. Must be present to win. Because weather can be unpredictable, please be prepared with proper clothing, including: long pants gloves hat sunscreen proper footwear water Be safe and have fun! REGISTRATION IS NOT REQUIRED! However, pre-registration is available for individuals 18 years and older!
