Please join us for a night of fun, laughs and creative fly designs! Roaring Fork Valley Fly Fishing Club, Roaring Fork Conservancy and Roaring Fork Fishing Guide Alliance present the 5th Annual Iron Fly Competition! WHEN: Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 4-10pm WHERE: The Tipsy Trout in Basalt, CO COST: Suggested donation at the door of $5 for spectators / $20 for competitors. Light appetizers are provided. Iron Fly is a fly tying event combined with a little, friendly competition. Competitors are provided with secret and funky materials that must be used in each fly. A repeat for this year is the youth division for ages 16 and under, starting at 4:00pm. Adult Competition starts at 6:30pm. Adult Division is limited to first 25 that register. COMPETITORS need to bring your fly tying vise and all of your fly tying tools, and be willing to share some supplies with fellow competitors.
