Attorney Claire Noone will give a first-hand account of what she has witnessed in her travels to the Mexico-US border. Noone has traveled to the border to work in family and children's detention centers, has been present in court where children are expected to represent themselves, worked in refugee shelters, given out food on the bridges into the country, and assisted asylum seekers stuck in Mexico as part of the Remain In Mexico program. She routinely gives "Know Your Rights" presentations, is part of the Rapid Response Coalition to respond to ICE raids, and has given several presentations on the legal history of immigration in the US and what has changed to get us where we are now.
