Mark your calendars for the Aspen Valley Hospital “Fresh & Healthy” Community Picnic, 12 noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 8! You are invited to enjoy this family-friendly afternoon featuring a fresh, healthy barbeque with dishes prepared by Aspen Valley Hospital’s award-winning nutritional team, games for the kids and live entertainment by local bluegrass favorite, Timbermill. The festive menu includes vegetarian black bean burgers; 100% grass-fed beef burgers; free-range, grilled chicken sandwiches; savory salads; fresh fruits and veggies, plus wholesome desserts. Kids can revel in the bounce house, learn how to make balloon animals, get their faces painted, play games and more! The event takes place at the Aspen Valley Hospital campus. A large turn-out is expected and parking is limited, so please bus, bike (with your helmet!) or walk to the event, if possible. *The first 50 people to walk or bike to the event will receive a FREE collapsible water bottle!* Suggested donation for the picnic lunch is $10 for adults, $5 for kids and seniors.
