Did you know Colorado is the first state in the nation to have its own Public Lands Day? To celebrate, Roaring Fork Conservancy and Roaring Fork Valley Fly Fishing Club are teaming up to promote the public lands in the Roaring Fork Valley. Keeping public lands in public hands is critical not only for environmental health and integrity, but also to maintain ACCESS to those places where we love to relax, fish, hike and play. Swing by for coffee and donuts at one of the most popular fishing spots on the Fryingpan River - the “Toilet Bowl” - at the base of Ruedi Dam. We will be on site promoting awareness and appreciation of local access points and providing opportunities to support public lands. Saturday, May 20, 2017 8:00am - 11:00am Base of Ruedi Dam, the "Toilet Bowl" on Fryingpan River
