Event Description:
Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s 1 hour touring production of Julius Caesar uses live performance and the latest school violence research to teach violence prevention– students improve their Shakespeare literacy AND learn intervention strategies they can use effectively when they see mistreatment happening around them. Professional actors from CSF will perform an abridged, one-act version of the play followed by an educational talk back that helps students connect situations in the play to situations they face every day. Parents and teachers are encouraged to bring children and students from grades 3 and up.
