CoMotion is Carbondale's very own dance company and each autumn, we showcase a variety of works in an intimate, community setting at the Launchpad in downtown Carbondale. Founded in 2013 by local community dancers, CoMotion creates repertoire that educates and inspires a passion for the art of dance while also providing a transformative performing arts experience for patrons. The show this year is called RETURNING. Returning is an exploration into the layers of self and the many facets of journeying away... and back home. This dance showcase will include 2 pieces from CoMotion's repertoire and 3 new works, including a piece set by the New York City-based company, The Hewman Collective. Show times are 7pm on Friday, Nov 8th and Saturday, Nov 9th.
