Event Description:
Registration is open for Drawing with Light: An Introduction to Cyanotype with Chris Hassig on Saturday, July 18 from 9:00am-4:00pm. Fee is $85. Explore one of the earliest photo techniques from the nineteenth century. Cyanotypes offer simplicity, relatively immediate gratification and no darkroom requirements. Students will have the opportunity to explore several different modes of creating cyanotypes including—but not limited to—photo transparency, found object, stencil, outdoor shadow, and transparency drawing—all which will result in unique photographic prints.
