Event Description:
For the better part of the past year, Wildermiss has been quietly taking Denver by storm. Unassumingly serving as a supporting act playing frequent weeknight gigs, the auspicious quartet has been steadily making a name for itself with a smart brand of guitardriven pop rock. Made up of three former members of Red Fox Run (guitarists Joshua Hester and Seth Beamer and drummer Caleb Thoemke), and a vocalist Emma Cole, whose expressive voice drives the group’s radio-friendly pop sound. The quartet won both 93.3 KTCL’s band battles “The Big Gig” and “Hometown For The Holidays” in 2017 and also earned the crowd-favorite designation at the annual Hometown for the Holidays showcase — which is entirely unprecedented in the history of the event. In the past, bands have earned one honor or the other but not both. Opening act: Anna Morsett of The Still Tide Anna Morsett is that musician that will make you say, "I saw her when..." Her main band is The Still Tide which she shares with Jacob “Jake” Miller. She can also be found in Ark Life, Porlolo, the Brent Cowles band, and with Natalie Tate. She plays guitar, bass, and sings with power, grace, and her own unique style.
