Event Description:

This event will serve as the method for Basalt Chamber members to opt-in to/register for the discounted Chamber Pass Program for Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) winter season passes. The process will be completely digital. Please allow up to two business days for processing.

ONLY one registration PER organization. 
The registration should be made by the designated Chamber Season Pass representative for your business, This information will provided to ASC to complete the process. Do NOT add any attendees beyond the pass representative for this "event."

1. Opt-in: Member opts into the program (registration)
2. Verify eligibility: Chamber verifies the member's eligibility for the program, then provides member's information to ASC using registration and database information. Information required by the chamber (in the registration form):

  • Main business point of contact for this process (owner/manager) - this should be the person who RSVPs to this event.
  • Business contact's title
  • Business contact's email address
  • Business contact's phone number
  • Main business phone number
  • Main business physical address (no PO Boxes - this MUST be a RFV address)
  • Total number of full-time employees based on the ASC definition for the program: Someone who works a minimum of 20 hours/wk during the winter season, receives a W2 and whose primary address is in the RFV.

Members must be active and current. In order to qualify for the Chamber discount, members must be in good standing - meaning all outstanding invoices must be paid. We will not verify your eligibility with ASC until the annual membership investment has been made. Membership can now be paid online: https://www.basaltchamber.org/make-a-payment/.

3. Pass selection and purchase: ASC contacts the member to complete the pass process, including:

  • Identifying the total number and type of passes the business wishes to purchase.
  • Paying for passes
  • Using any ASC 2019-20 pass credit on file during the purchase
  • Securing final voucher numbers that can be loaded at a later date to an RFID Aspen card (aka lift ticket).


A 100% no contact, digital process. There is no need to physically visit the Chamber office.
Date/Time Information:
Pass sales begin October 7, 2020, and Early Pricing ends November 13, 2020. The digital process requires an opt-in, discount verification, THEN ASC will contact the member to complete the process. Members will need to opt-in with the chamber by November 11, 2020 in order to provide enough time for ASC to contact the member, and complete the transaction prior to the Early Discount deadline. Do NOT wait to the last minute!

There is no fee to process the Chamber discount. 

Businesses pay the chamber for membership (thus becoming eligible for the discount), then the businesses pay ASC for the passes. Membership dues has its own fees, separate from the Chamber Pass program. 

In order to qualify for the discount, members must be in good standing. Verification will not occur until membership has been paid. Online payment.
