Event Description:
One of the most popular Basalt Chamber member benefits is the discounted Aspen Skiing Company ski pass - so let's put it to good use!  

The day will have three parts. Please join us for any or all of this day on the mountain:
  • Networking Breakfast (9-10:30 a.m.) at Sliders Cabin
  • Chairlift Networking and Hospitality suite access at Sliders Cabin (10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.)
  • Après Ski (2:30-5 p.m.) at Ranger Station

A nominal fee is associated with the morning networking event ($5 - Pay here). An RSVP is required for any part of the day so we have an accurate food count.

NOTE: Due to Pitkin County's Public Health Order, masks will be required while indoors at Slider's Cabin and at Ranger Station, as well as when riding the gondola.

Timing

  • 9:00 a.m. Lifts open to the public - Meet at the base of the Elk Camp Gondola - the easiest access to Slider's Cabin. A guided group will make its way to Slider's Cabin (potentially with a ski run detour on the way!).
  • 9:30 a.m. Breakfast networking begins - Meet your fellow chamber members, including the medical professionals at The Steadman Clinic, the Steadman Philippon Research Institute and Howard Head Sports Medicine. Coffee and continental breakfast options provided (please note any dietary restrictions in the registration).
  • 9:45 a.m. Presentation by The Steadman Clinic/the Steadman Philippon Research Institute and Howard Head Sports Medicine (HHSM) on the new Basalt medical facility, available services, the latest research and more. 
  • 10:00 a.m. Networking breakfast continues with round robin attendee introductions.
  • 10:30-ish a.m. Breakfast concludes to make way for additional skiing/snowboard and true chairlift networking. Grab a few runs with a Chamber member! 
  • 10:30-2 p.m. Drop-in Basalt Chamber hospitality access - Slider's Cabin will continue to be available to chamber members through 2 p.m., staffed by representatives from the Basalt Chamber, The Steadman Clinic/SPRI and HHSM. Stop by to warm up, grab a snack or a hot beverage, and chat with others at the Cabin. Use this as your on-mountain meeting place.
  • 2:30-5 p.m. Après Ski at Ranger Station - A day of Chairlift Networking wraps up with après at Ranger Station. Join for light bites and grab a beverage of your choice.
