Event Description:
In its 44th year, the Basalt Half Marathon and 2 Person Relay offers scenic views and fast times on this point to point course. After a ¼ mile on a dirt road, the racers will descend approximately 1,000 feet in elevation, along the Frying Pan Road (paved) and finish in downtown Basalt at Lions Park. There will be three aid stations along the way and each mile is clearly marked.

Entry Fee: Individual & Relay Team Individual: $75.00 pre-registration; $80.00 day of race. Relay Team: $100 (team of 2 racers only) pre-registration; $130 day of race. All proceeds benefit the Basalt High School Cross Country program.
