Event Description:
Stay up late for an evening to explore a special place with your family. We’ll meet some residents of Filoha Meadows such as aquatic insects, Townsend’s Big Eared Bats, and fireflies, too! We’ll play games, do some hands-on discovery and participate in activities where we’ll learn about animal adaptations. Get ready because once it is dark, it’s time to catch a firefly to hold in our hands and take a closer look. This program is appropriate for families with children of all ages and their parents. Please dress appropriately as the program will happen rain or shine. Please also wear closed toed shoes as there is walking on uneven terrain/off-trail.
