Join us at the Basalt Regional Library for an artist reception and talk with Yelena Chemerisov during Basalt’s 2nd Fridays ArtWalk! Yelena Chemerisov’s surreal oil paintings explore the self as an intermediary between fantasy and reality. Enjoy refreshments while Yelena speaks about an intellectual craving for the unknown that informs her work. Afterwards, be sure to check out John Van Tassel’s exhibition opening at the Art Base from 5-7pm. Yelena Chemerisov's work will be on view in the Basalt Regional Library art display case during the month of October, 2018. This art display was curated in collaboration with the Art Base.
