Happy Hour Community Dance Class: Live from New York with Tiffany Mangulabnan

Join Tiffany Mangulabnan, founding co-artistic director of Brooklyn-based contemporary ballet company konverjdans, former principal dancer of the Philippine Ballet Theatre, and Dance Initiative board member and former Dance Initiative residency artist (with konverjdans) for a three-week series of contemporary dance class at The Launchpad on July 28, August 4 and August 11. These classes will be projected onto the studio wall via Zoom. Tiffany loves using adjectives like "liquid-y," "gooey," and "melting" when describing movement, and playing with using the foundations of dance to move through space like water. She will lead the class through various Pilates, yoga and ballet-based strengthening warmups before collaborating with the class on a liquid-y movement phrase that will keep building over the course of the three weeks.
