Event Description:
Meet at the Basalt Regional Library before we walk to Roaring Fork Conservancy’s River Center for a fun and informative program about our local fish. We’ll learn the different body parts of trout and then use that knowledge in a fun, hands-on art project. If the weather is nice we’ll get to observe the real trout that live in Old Pond, too! For 1-4th graders In the Kids Learning Lab, children are introduced to the fascinating fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through fun, hands-on activities that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
