Event Description:
Spend a morning with Roaring Fork Conservancy staff and river ambassadors as we float the Lower Roaring Fork River! After the float, join us at Coryell Ranch for a cook-out, music, and the opportunity to try stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, fly rods and the latest gear from local outfitter shops. Rafts and guides provided by Aspen Whitewater Rafting, Blazing Adventures, Blue Sky Adventures and Elk Mountain Expeditions. River Float is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. BBQ Lunch and Gear Demo are open to all ages. REGISTER BY JUNE 7, 2017 Please bring your lawn chairs or picnic blankets for lunch. We love our furry friends but unfortunately dogs are NOT permitted.
Location:
400 Coryell Ranch Road, Carbondale, Directions: From Carbondale City Market, on Hwy 133, go west on Main Street which becomes CR 106. Drive past CRMS campus and across the Crystal River. Then take a right on CR 109; drive 1 mile to Coryell Ranch. Take a right into Coryell Ranch on Coryell Ranch Rd. Drive less than a half mile down to the festival site.
