The Basalt Public Services Facilities project is a priority of Basalt Town Council. The proposed project would consolidate the Police & Public Works Departments into a single building located between historic downtown and Willits on Town-owned land. It would deliver the community a police department that is housed in a building that utilizes best practices in law enforcement modernization, such as dedicated space for investigations, victim interviews, and evidence processing and storage as well as a public meeting room and provide modern and consolidated facilities for Public Works. The Town is eager to share information about this project. We hope to see you at the open house.
