Earn that Thanksgiving dinner! Join Carbondale Parks and Recreation Thanksgiving morning for a 5K Walk/Run and 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run. This race is for all ages and very non-competitive. We encourage costumes, fun, and families. Prizes for 1st-3rd M/F 17-61, 17 and under, 1st place 62+ in the 5K race. The grand prize will go to the middle place 5K racer; $400 voucher for a "Staycation" the Redstone Inn and 2 day passes to Avalanche Ranch Hot Springs!!!  Merc: Sweatpants for $20 and Oven Mits for $5.  They can be purchased at packet pick up or post race.  They will sell out fast so don't delay. Post Race: -Medal hand out at the finish line -Pie Slices provided by Village Smithy, snacks, and drinks in the gymnasium and on the patio -Awards announced at 10:30.  -Grand Prize will be hand delivered Monday post-race and announced in the Sopris Sun.
