Event Description:
Everyone has a story. Everyone is a memoir. Taught by Jessica Amber Barnum, this workshop series will facilitate thoughtful discussions about “being a writer” and the art of writing, provide space to practice mindfulness for awakening our Writer Muses, expand our memoir writing with wordplay and figurative language, read sections of published memoirs for inspiration, and dive into prompts to recall and ignite the stories inside of us. We'll jump “write” in to write and inspire each other! Sharing your writing will be optional. Bring a journal, as well as water and a snack if you wish to.
