Dedicated in honor of Nancy Parker West, Nancy's Path is a public trail open to horses and hikers that is managed by Pitkin County Open Space and Trails and the Bureau of Land Management. In 2024, with help from volunteers, Pitkin County Open Space and Trails made dramatic sustainability improvements to their portion of Nancy's Path. Now in 2026, RFOV is hosting a project to continue these improvements into the BLM portion of the trail. Volunteers will help to build drainage structures, complete tread repairs, and clear back trail corridor vegetation. Come join us on this gem of a mid-valley trail!
