The public reception for The Beauty of Water: A Watercolor Exhibition will take place on Friday, April 3, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Basalt Regional Library. This special event offers the community an opportunity to meet featured artist Sarah Peterson and many of her students from the Art Base.

Guests are invited to enjoy an inspiring afternoon surrounded by vibrant watercolor works that capture the beauty and movement of water. The reception celebrates Sarah’s 15 years of dedicated teaching at the Art Base, as well as the creativity, growth, and lasting artistic relationships she has cultivated with her students. Light refreshments will be served as attendees explore the exhibition, connect with the artists, and learn more about the stories behind the work.

This gathering is both a celebration of artistic expression and a tribute to the powerful role of mentorship and community in the arts.
